Easy Crock Pot Beef Stew (also Vegetarian Recipe)

We are getting our home ready to sell .. today my dad and hubby are busy putting in a new bathtub and Im painting so I wanted to make something quick and easy ... hearty, and ready to serve .. hence my Easy Crock pot beef stew choice.  My daughter and I are veggies so Im including a vegetarian version as well .. :)

1 Pound beef cubed (vegetarian Version use beef less tips)
1 packet of Lipton dry onion soup
2 Can Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup
4 - 6 potatoes cut into cubes
4 Large Carrots
1 (8oz) can Tomato Sauce
1 (10oz) package frozen green peas (dont worry, they wont get mushy)
Veggie Beef ..

Put beef cubes on the bottom of the crock pot.  Layer carrots, potatoes & peas on top.

mix together cream of mushroom soup and tomato sauce

pour your mixture on top.  Cover and cook on low for 6 hours (I was in a rush so I knocked it up to high for hour 3 and 4 reducing cooking time to 4.5 hours)

finished!!  Smellls sooooo good!

I always feel like somebodys watching me ;)

Verdict .. as I always say ... Easy is good and this was easy!  Both versions of the stew, beef and vegetarian were AMAZING!!!   big thumbs up big YUM!!!

365 Days Of Pinterest Day 18 - DIY Pretty Lace Bowls

DIY Pretty Lace Bowls

Day 18 of my
365 Days of Pintetest I chose the pretty lace bowl pin ...

say Hello to my little friend ... Hope ... and my new nesting tables! :)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
~Doilies (I found mine and the local second hand store
~balloons
~ Glue ( I used Elmers & Aileens)
~ food coloring if you want to color them

First I dyed my doilie .. I love blue.  A few drops of food coloring and warm water will do .. pop the doilies in the dryer to set the color.

wear gloves :)

mix your glue and water.  I tweaked the original pin.  I used 3 TBS glue to 6 TSP water.

Dipity Do.  Soak your doilies in the glue solution real good.

Blow up your balloon to the desired bowl size and lay your doily on top.  I placed my balloon in a bowl for support.

pay attention to spread out the ends so you can see the pretty design.

now wait for your doilies to dry .. I actually waited 24 hours to be safe.

 POP!

wa laaa

I love seeing the details to each different doily .. like a snowflake

Verdict .. Fun, Easy and pretty.

I love the results!!  I also made the doily lantern wich was equally as fun and easy .. will blog that as well ..
